The Joplin Redevelopment Corporation has finally completed the sale of a former Coca Cola distribution facility to the City's Master Developer. The JRC had been holding the building until Master Developer Wallace Bajjali was ready to use it, according to JRC chairman Gary Duncan.
"It's finalized as of this morning. That's the first large sale of land we've had back to Wallace Bajjali."
The sale was for "around $550,000," according to Duncan.
Wallace Bajjali Finance Director Bruce Anderson tells News Talk KZRG what the firm's plans are for the property:
"In the past, we've discussed potential plans for the property, however we're still working on options. Once we have a definitive plan we'll present that to the Joplin City Council and the JRC."
Anderson called the purchase the fulfillment of a promise made to the Joplin City Council.
