When two local girls saw some friends in need at their school in Neosho, they decided to do something about it. 12-year-old Gabby McCauley and 9-year-old Zoe Moore realized a lot of kids didn't have enough to eat on the weekends, so they came up with the idea to make and sell bracelets to buy jars of peanut butter for the kids in Neosho's Bright Futures program. Zoe tells News Talk KZRG they're just glad they can help.
"We're very proud, and glad we can help."
Gabby says they've already received a lot of positive feedback.
"We have over 150 orders from people on Facebook. They think it's cool because it's helping, but it's also really fashionable."
If you'd like to buy a bracelet, contact them on their Facebook page though this link to Looms of Love.
