Joplin DWI Checkpoint Results

Joplin Police held a DWI checkpoint Friday night. They were set up at 34th and Hearnes. Joplin Police Sergeant Rusty Rives tells News Talk KZRG how many cars they stopped:

"We checked 750 cars. Out of that, we arrested three people for DWI."

Rives noted there were fewer cars than expected for the start of the Memorial Day weekend.

Ten people were given tickets and there were four other arrests.
