People are still wondering just what's going on at the US Department of Veterans Affairs, after reports of patients at VA hospitals put on waiting lists and left there until they died, regardless of actual demand for care. David Coker of the Fisher House, a group that builds homes for veterans, gives News Talk KZRG his thoughts:
"You know, there are always issues with bureaucracies. They seem to do a great job of suffocating themselves."
Coker adds that for the most part, his experiences with the V.A. have all been good, and he hasn't encountered anyone who has had some of the reported problems.
