Members of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at MSSU are staying up around the clock for 48 hours at the corner of 7th and Duquesne to raise money for one of their philanthropies; Military Heroes. They're hoping to collect $2,500. Member Chad Williams tells News Talk KZRG about the organization.
"They support a lot, like the Fisher House. Fisher House builds houses next to military hospitals that house family members while their soldier is rehabilitating or going through different surgeries. So it's kind of like the Ronald McDonald House, but for the military."
Williams says the fund raiser has been one of their more successful ones. If you'd like to help, the fraternity brothers will be collecting donations until Thursday morning.
