Should Oronogo Mayor Robert Pearish step down? Former City Council member Kobie Langford says yes, in light of Pearish being convicted of DWI last month.
"January 8th, he was found guilty of DWI. Our leaders really seem to be representing us poorly across the region. I know that Oronogo is a smaller community, but leaders have got to be held to a higher standard, whether it's a small town or a city."
Pearish promised during a Council meeting he would step down if convicted; now he's refusing to do so. News Talk KZRG has reached out to Pearish for comment, but we have not yet received a response.
