Freeman Volunteer Named to National Post

A local woman has been named to a national post on health care. Earline Kelley has been volunteering for Freeman Health System in Joplin for 11 years. She tells News Talk KZRG about her new position.

"I'm now one of 14 to serve on a committee called COV - the American Hospital Association's Committee on Volunteers."

In the post, she'll assume a leadership role on the development of policies to represent, guide, and assist hospitals across the nation. Her appointment is for a three-year term.

Freeman President and CEO Paula Baker celebrated the announcement: "We're thrilled about Earline's appointment. Earline has done an outstanding job in various leadership positions at Freeman and the state level. She truly has a heart for service."
