Focus Groups Set to Start Search for Next MSSU President

The MSSU Board of Governors is looking for your input over who gets to be the next president of Missouri Southern State University. Board Chairman Richard Walter tells News Talk KZRG they're holding a "focus group" type of meeting Tuesday at 3pm in the Billingsly Student Center, and asking three specific questions:

"What traits, skills and experience should Missouri Southern look for in a presidential candidate, second question is 'what should the vision be for the university and what leadership qualities do you think would help achieve that vision,' and thirdly, 'what suggestions do you have for the search committee?'"

There will be a similar meeting Wednesday at 11am. Feedback from both sessions will be used to make an official mission statement in the search for a permanent college president.
