Former State Trooper Gets Probation for Child Molestation



A Neosho man who used to be a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper has been sentenced to two years probation after being charged with child molestation. James Hall of Neosho made a plea deal with prosecutros that led to him only being charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child; he was originally facing 3rd degree assault and 1st degree child molestation charges. Hall will have to undergo counseling and not be allowed to have contact with anyone under the age of 17 except for his own grandchildren. He was accused last year of molesting three children younger than 13.
