Pittsburg Police make Murder Arrest



Pittsburg police have charged a man with second-degree murder after an incident that happened early Saturday morning. According to a press release from Lt. Chris Hatcher of the Pittsburg Police Department, officers were called to the 2000 block of John F. Kennedy Street to find 39-year-old Arlin Lee Evans suffering from life-threatening stab wounds. He was pronounced dead shortly after at Via Christi Hospital. Police arrested 54-year-old James Dale Willard several hours later; he's been charged with Evans' death. No further details have been released; the case is still under investigation at this time.
