A group of cyclists riding from Joplin to New Orleans to raise money for rebuilding efforts is making its way through Arkansas today. Jerrod Hogan of Rebuild Joplin is part of the JOMONOLA ride; he tells News Talk KZRG what it's all about.
"The main purpose of the ride is to raise awareness that there are families in New York, New Jersey, New Orleans and Joplin that are still displaced from natural disasters."
They're looking to raise $150,000 on the trip for Rebuild Joplin and the St. Bernard Project. So far, they've raised $125,000. To help or find out more, visit www.jomonola.org.
