An Ottawa County woman accused of murdering a 17-month-old boy made a brief court appearance Monday.
20-year-old Skye Reece of Quapaw is accused of First Degree Murder in the death of Lanceton Hollenbeck in February. The boy was left in her care on February 11th and died from blunt head trauma injuries at a Tulsa hospital the next day. Monday's appearance was to set a November 26th date for a jury trial. Reece, who smiled at times during the hearing but seemed serious others, has pled "not guilty," saying the child injured himself in a fall. She also has a 4-month-old, who's currently in state custody.
