"I think it (the report) is... not worth the paper it's printed on."
Joplin City Manager Mark Rohr is taking issue with the investigative report that got him fired last week. Rohr told the KZRG Morning News Watch today that investigator Tom Loraine's report to the Joplin City Council about his job was full of lies, rumors, and half-truths from former City employees.
"The report was largely fiction. There were inaccuracies in the report where it specifically dealt with me, which doesn't surprise me at all. It's full of rumor, innuendo, half-truths and bold-faced lies from people who were either directed or motivated on their own to come and complain."
Rohr told the KZRG Morning News Watch today it may stem from a controversy over lost money at the city's Public Works Department last August that led to the department director being reassigned.
