Red Cross Helps 41 In Southwest MO During May

Nationally, the American Red Cross helps more than 190 families a day who've been affected by some sort of disaster. Most commonly, victims are left homeless after they're home caught fire. Nigel Holderby with the Red Cross tells News Talk KZRG how many in southwest Missouri needed their help last month.

"We had 41 individuals during the month of May that were apart of the fire response out in that area. The majority of these were fires. 13 of them were fires."
