Tomorrow from 9-3, over 70 school districts will be at Pittsburg State University interviewing education graduates for openings in their districts. Dean of College Education Howard Smith tells News Talk KZRG it's more of a meet and greet for not only the employers to get a feel for the grads, but also for the students to see which districts they're most interested in.
"Some of the school systems that come use these as pre-interviews to get an idea of candidates they want to call back. A lot of times it depends on the system itself and what their actual procedures are for hiring."
Smith says the annual event has always been a success. They're expecting over 100 students to attend, and the interviews aren't just limited to this year's grads; all PSU education graduates are invited to attend tomorrow's event from 9-3 at the John Lance Arena.
