McDonald County Chief Deputy Fired After Investigation
McDonald County Chief Deputy David Roark has been fired. That's according to Sheriff Michael Hall, who says the firing came as a result of an investigation by the Missouri Highway Patrol over alleged mishandling of evidence in the wake of a drunk driving arrest that happened in February.
"Right now, with the investigation being open and active with the Highway Patrol, I can only say that Chief Deputy Roark was dismissed on June 3rd from employment with the McDonald County Sheriff's Office."
