Carl Junction Prepares for Bluegrass Festival

Things will be busy in Carl Junction later this month. Chamber of Commerce President Gary Stubblefield tells News Talk KZRG it's time once again for the annual Bluegrass Festival.

"The 16th annual Carl Junction Bluegrass festival is September 28th. This is something the city works on year-round; it brings about 8,000 to 10,000 people to town, effectively doubling our population."

As for what will make this year's event differ from past year's:

"This year's very special. We see it grow every year, but we're seeing even more interest in the car show this year than before. You don't even have to register, just show up."
