Trained volunteers are needed at both the American Red Cross and Salvation Army. Contact the American Red Cross at 417-624-4411 or the Salvation Army at 417-624-4528. Items needed include water, gator aide, non-perishable food items, (chips, canned goods, nutritional bars, etc.) coolers, diapers, baby formula, gloves, tarps, cleanup kits, shovels, rakes, household cleaners, trash bags, first-aid kits, safety glasses, ear plugs, personal care items (shampoo, soap, tooth brushes, tooth paste, etc.) chainsaws, chains, chain saw bar oil, wheel barrow, generators, plastic storage containers, and plastic zip lock bags.
Items can be dropped off in the KIX 102.5 parking lot at 2702 E. 32nd Street. |
